AN FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE, ARIZONA LODGE 44 FOR CORRECTIONS, INC. SUBSIDIARY

Recently, The State of Arizona Personnel Reform stripped all grievance rights from all uncovered State Employees. Soon after, the Arizona Department of Corrections eliminated all "class one" disciplinary offenses in DO 601, thus making almost all disciplinary actions to include time off.

 

The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 44 for Corrections, Inc. (FOP44) has been very vocal in stating that giving an employee time off does not correct a mistake, more often, training is a more appropriate response.

 

FOP44 also believes that the financial impact of having part of your pay check taken, not only effects the employee, but the employee's family

as well.

 

Because of this, FOP44 has created the Correctional Income Protection Benefit (CIPB).

 

The CIPB is an opt-in benefit that will pay back a portion of the salary taken because of disciplinary.
